Create Webhook URLs

The Create Webhook URLs section allows you to create webhook URLs that can be used by external systems.

You can access it from:

NextCRM → Settings → Webhook & API → Create & Manage → Create Webhook

Manage Webhook URLs Table

The Manage Webhook URLs table includes columns such as:

  • Webhook URL
  • Name
  • Created
  • Status
  • Action

Each row represents one webhook URL.

Create New Webhook URL

To create a new webhook URL:

  1. Go to NextCRM → Settings → Webhook & API.
  2. Open Create & Manage.
  3. Select Create Webhook.
  4. Click Create New Webhook.
  5. Enter a name.
  6. Save the webhook.

After creating the webhook, copy the generated URL and use it in the external system that needs to send data to NextCRM.

Webhook URL

The webhook URL is the endpoint that receives data.

Use this URL in external tools or custom apps when you want them to send data to NextCRM.

Keep webhook URLs private. Anyone with access to the URL may be able to send requests to it depending on your setup.

The Add / Update Keys popup is used to create or update a webhook.

The popup includes:

Name

Enter a clear name for the webhook.

Example:

Best Practices for Webhook & API

Use API keys and webhooks carefully.

Recommended practices:

  • Create separate API keys for different integrations.
  • Use clear names for every API key and webhook.
  • Keep API keys private.
  • Do not expose API keys in frontend code.
  • Deactivate unused API keys.
  • Test webhook URLs before using them in live workflows.
  • Use secure webhook URLs.
  • Review webhook events before activating them.
  • Save settings after making changes.
