Campaign Settings

The Campaign Settings area controls how email campaigns behave inside NextCRM.

You can access it from:

WordPress Dashboard → NextCRM → Campaign Settings

or:

NextCRM → Settings → Campaigns → Options

Basic Settings

The Basic Settings section includes campaign cleanup options.

Enable Auto Delete Campaign

This option allows NextCRM to automatically delete campaigns after a selected number of days.

When enabled, campaigns will be deleted based on the day value you set.

Use this option only if you do not want to keep old campaign records permanently.

Number of Days

This field controls how many days after which campaigns will be automatically deleted.

Example:

0 = Disable auto delete
30 = Delete after 30 days
90 = Delete after 90 days

Set it to 0 if you do not want campaigns to be deleted automatically.

Sender Settings

Sender Settings control the default sender information used for campaign emails.

These settings are important because recipients will see this information in their inbox.

Default From Name

The Default From Name is the sender name used in campaign emails.

Example:

Engine
ThemeDev Team
NextCRM Support

Use a name that your subscribers can recognize easily.

Default From Email

The Default From Email is the email address used as the sender address.

Example:

[email protected]
[email protected]

Use a verified and trusted email address for better deliverability.

Default Reply-To Email

The Default Reply-To Email is the email address where replies will be received.

This can be the same as the sender email or a different support email.

Example:

[email protected]

Default SMTP Mail Box

The Default SMTP Mail Box is the main mailbox used for sending campaign emails.

Choose the mailbox you want NextCRM to use by default.

Fallback SMTP Mail Box

The Fallback SMTP Mail Box is used if the default mailbox cannot send emails.

This helps keep email sending more reliable.

Advanced Campaign Settings

Advanced Settings control email logs, sending limits, blocked domains, blocked email prefixes, and bounce behavior.

Track Email Logs by Default

When enabled, NextCRM tracks email logs for new campaigns, sequences, and automations.

Email logs help you review campaign activity later.

This is useful for tracking:

  • Sent emails
  • Failed emails
  • Open activity
  • Click activity
  • Bounce activity

Auto Delete Email Logs After Days

This option controls how long email logs are stored.

Example:

0 = Do not auto delete logs
30 = Delete logs after 30 days
90 = Delete logs after 90 days

Use this option to manage database size.

Delete Email Logs When Campaign Recurring

When enabled, NextCRM can delete previous email logs before sending a recurring campaign again.

This is useful if you want each recurring campaign cycle to start with clean logs.

Skip Already Sent on Re-schedule

When enabled, NextCRM will skip contacts who already received the campaign during re-scheduling.

This helps prevent sending duplicate emails to the same contacts.

Sending Limit at a Time

This setting controls how many emails NextCRM sends at one time.

Example:

5
10
20

A smaller number is safer for shared hosting or limited SMTP servers.

A higher number may send faster but can increase the risk of server or SMTP limits.

Disable Domain

Use this field to block emails from specific domains.

Example:

example.com, example1.com, example2.com

Emails from these domains will not receive campaign emails.

You can enter domains separated by comma or new line.

Disable Email Prefix

Use this field to block specific email prefixes.

Example:

info@, support@, no-reply@

Emails matching these prefixes will not receive campaign emails.

This is useful when you want to avoid sending campaigns to role-based or automated email addresses.

Bounce Status

The Bounce Status setting controls what status a contact will receive after bounce activity.

Available statuses may include:

  • Subscribed
  • Bounced
  • Complained
  • Pending
  • Unsubscribed

For failed delivery, Bounced is usually the recommended status.

Cron Job Settings

Cron Job Settings help NextCRM run scheduled campaign tasks automatically.

The Cron URL can be used on your server to trigger campaign sending.

Cron URL

The Cron URL is used for automatic campaign processing.

You can copy the Cron URL from the settings page and set it in your server cron job.

Use this when you want more reliable scheduled sending instead of depending only on WordPress traffic.

Copy Cron URL

Click Copy to copy the Cron URL.

Then add it to your server cron job system.

A server cron job can help campaigns run more consistently, especially on low-traffic websites.
