Form Fields & Elements

NextCRM Form Builder includes different field and content elements.

From the screenshots, available elements include:

General Fields

These fields allow you to build both simple and advanced forms.


Email Field

Use the Email field to collect the contact email address.

This is one of the most important fields for creating a contact in NextCRM.

Recommended usage:

Email Address
Your Email
Work Email

For most forms, the email field should be required.


Input Field

Use the Input field for short text information.

Example:

First Name
Last Name
Company Name
Phone Number
Website

Radio Field

Use the Radio field when users should select only one option.

Example:

What are you interested in?
○ Product Demo
○ Pricing
○ Support

Checkbox Field

Use the Checkbox field when users can select one or more options.

Example:

I agree to receive updates.
I want to join the newsletter.
I am interested in product updates.

Dropdown Field

Use the Dropdown field when users need to select one option from a list.

Example:

Select your country
Select service type
Select business size

Dropdown fields keep forms clean when there are many options.


Textarea Field

Use the Textarea field for longer messages.

Example:

Message
Project Details
Special Request
Additional Notes

Heading Element

Use the Heading element to add a title inside the form.

Example:

Join Our Newsletter
Request a Callback
Get Product Updates

Paragraph Element

Use the Paragraph element to add supporting text.

Example:

Fill out the form below and our team will contact you soon.

Image Element

Use the Image element to add a visual inside the form.

This can be useful for popup forms, offer forms, or branded signup forms.


Button Element

Use the Button element to add or customize the form submit button.

Example button text:

Send Message

Link Element

Use the Link element to add a clickable link inside the form.

Example:

Privacy Policy
Terms & Conditions
Learn More

List Element

Use the List element to add bullet points or short benefit lists inside the form.

Example:

You will get:
- Product updates
- Marketing tips
- Special offers

Field Settings

The right-side Field Settings panel lets you edit the selected field or column.

From the screenshot, column settings include:

  • Width
  • Min Height
  • Save Column
  • Delete Column

Column Width

The Width (%) field controls how wide the selected column should be.

Example:

50

This means the column will take 50% width.

For two-column layouts, 50% and 50% is common.


Minimum Height

The Min Height (px) field controls the minimum height of the selected column.

Use this if you want to keep columns visually balanced.


Save Column

Click Save Column after changing column settings.


Delete Column

Click Delete Column if you want to remove the selected column.

Use this carefully because fields inside the column may also be affected.
