Manage Forms

The Manage Forms page allows you to control all forms created inside NextCRM.

You can view forms, search forms, check form status, copy embed code, edit forms, duplicate forms, deactivate forms, or delete forms.

You can access it from:

WordPress Dashboard → NextCRM → Forms

Forms Table Overview

The Forms table shows all saved forms in one place.

Common columns include:

  • Title
  • Contacts
  • Type
  • Status
  • Created At
  • Action

Each row represents one form.

Title

The Title column shows the form name.

Example:

Newsletter Signup Form
General Form
Popup Form
Contact Request Form

Use clear names so you can quickly identify each form.

Contacts

The Contacts column shows how many contacts were collected through the form.

This helps you understand which forms are collecting leads or subscribers.

Type

The Type column shows whether the form is a:

  • General form
  • Popup form

A General form is normally embedded inside a page or section.

A Popup form appears as a popup based on its display settings.

Status

The Status column shows whether the form is active or inactive.

An Active form can collect submissions.

A deactivated form will not work until it is activated again.

Action Menu

Each form has an action menu.

Available actions include:

  • Edit
  • Setup Form
  • Copy Embed Code
  • Duplicate
  • Deactivate
  • Delete

Edit

Use Edit to update the form’s basic settings.

This may include:

  • Form title
  • Form type
  • Display rules
  • Contact status
  • Contact type
  • Lists
  • Tags
  • Embed settings
  • Append element

Use this when you want to change how the form behaves.

Setup Form

Use Setup Form to open the form builder.

This is where you can add or edit:

  • Sections
  • Columns
  • Input fields
  • Email fields
  • Dropdowns
  • Radio fields
  • Checkboxes
  • Textarea fields
  • Heading
  • Paragraph
  • Image
  • Button
  • Link
  • List

Use this option when you want to design or update the form layout.

Copy Embed Code

Use Copy Embed Code to copy the form embed code.

To copy the embed code:

  1. Go to NextCRM → Forms.
  2. Find the form you want to use.
  3. Click the action menu.
  4. Click Copy Embed Code.
  5. Paste the code where you want to display the form.

This is useful when you want to place the form manually on a page, post, landing page, or custom section.

Duplicate

Use Duplicate to create a copy of an existing form.

This is useful when you want to create a similar form without starting from scratch.

Example:

You can duplicate a Newsletter Signup Form and modify it into a Popup Signup Form.

Deactivate

Use Deactivate to turn off a form without deleting it.

This is useful when:

  • You want to pause a campaign
  • You no longer want to collect submissions temporarily
  • You want to test a new version
  • You want to keep the form for future use

Delete

Use Delete to permanently remove a form.

Use this carefully. Deleted forms may not be recoverable.

Before deleting a form, make sure you no longer need:

  • The form setup
  • Embed code
  • Form layout
  • Submission source tracking

Best Practices for Managing Forms

Keep form names clear and organized.

Good examples:

Homepage Newsletter Form
Pricing Page Lead Form
Black Friday Popup Form
Contact Page Inquiry Form

Avoid unclear names like:

Form 1
Test
New Form
abc

Clear form names make it easier to manage forms later.
