The Create Automation option allows you to create a new workflow inside NextCRM.
You can create an automation from:
WordPress Dashboard → NextCRM → Automation → Add New
or by clicking the Add New button from the Automation page.
Add Automation Modal
When you click Add New, the Add Automation popup will appear.
This popup includes:
- Title
- Trigger Category
- Trigger Event
- Add Automation button
The trigger you select decides when the automation will start.
Automation Title
The Title field is required.
Use a clear title so you can understand the purpose of the automation later.
Example automation names:
- New Contact Welcome Email
- WooCommerce New Order Follow-up
- Course Enrollment Welcome
- Abandoned Customer Tagging
- User Signup Automation
- Form Submission Lead Capture
A clear title makes it easier to manage automations when your workflow list grows.
Select Trigger
A trigger is the event that starts an automation.
For example:
- A new contact is created
- A WooCommerce order is placed
- A form is submitted
- A student enrolls in a course
- A contact is added to a tag
- A WordPress user is created
After selecting a trigger, click Add Automation to create the workflow.
Add Automation
After entering the title and selecting a trigger, click Add Automation.
NextCRM will create the automation and open the automation builder, where you can add actions, delays, and conditions.
