Email Sequences allow you to create a series of emails that are sent step by step.
A sequence is useful when you want to send multiple emails over a period of time instead of sending only one campaign.
You can access it from:
WordPress Dashboard → NextCRM → Campaigns → Email Sequences
What Email Sequences Are Used For
Email sequences are useful for:
- Welcome email series
- Lead nurturing
- Product onboarding
- Course follow-up emails
- Trial follow-up emails
- Post-purchase emails
- Re-engagement campaigns
A sequence helps you communicate with contacts over time automatically.
Email Sequences Table Overview
The Email Sequences page shows all saved sequences.
Common columns include:
- Title
- Description
- Status
- Created At
- Action
Each row represents one sequence group.
Add New Sequence
To create a new sequence:
- Go to NextCRM → Campaigns → Email Sequences.
- Click Add New.
- Enter the sequence name.
- Select header template.
- Select body template.
- Select footer template.
- Click Add Sequence.
Sequence Name
The Name field is required.
Use a clear name that explains the sequence purpose.
Example names:
- Welcome Email Sequence
- Trial Follow-up Sequence
- Product Education Sequence
- Abandoned Cart Sequence
- Customer Onboarding Sequence
Sequence Templates
When creating a sequence, you can choose:
- Header Template
- Body Template
- Footer Template
This works like campaign creation. Templates help you keep all sequence emails consistent.
Setup Sequence Emails
After creating a sequence, you can open the sequence setup page.
The setup page shows individual emails inside the sequence.
Each email may include:
- Title
- Description
- Delay time
- Status
- Created date
- Action
For example:
Test Sequence 1 - 1 day
Test Sequence 2 - 2 day
This means the emails are sent based on the selected delay timing.
Add New Sequence Email
To add another email inside a sequence:
- Open the sequence.
- Click Add New Sequence.
- Add the email title and content.
- Set the delay time.
- Save the sequence email.
Use delay timing carefully so contacts receive emails at the right interval.
Sequence Status
A sequence can have a status such as Active.
An active sequence can be used in automation or campaign workflows.
Before making a sequence active, review all emails and timing settings.
