The Add New Contact option allows you to manually create a contact inside NextCRM.
This is useful when you want to add a customer, lead, subscriber, or client directly from your WordPress dashboard.
You can add a contact from:
WordPress Dashboard → NextCRM → Contacts → Add New
or by clicking the Add New button from the Contacts page.
Required Contact Fields
When adding a new contact, some fields are required.
Required fields include:
- First Name
- Status
- Contact Type
These fields are needed to create a valid contact record.
Basic Contact Information
The contact form includes basic identity fields.
Available fields include:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Status
- Contact Type
Use these fields to store the main contact information.
Assign Contact to List
You can assign a contact to one or more lists.
Lists help you group contacts by audience or purpose.
Example lists:
- Newsletter Subscribers
- Customers
- Leads
- Course Students
- WooCommerce Buyers
- Trial Users
To assign a list, choose the list from the List field while adding or editing a contact.
Assign Contact to Tag
Tags help you label contacts more specifically.
Example tags:
- VIP
- New Lead
- Product Interested
- Abandoned Checkout
- Webinar Lead
- High Intent
To assign a tag, select the tag from the Tag field.
Additional Contact Information
NextCRM also allows you to store extra contact details.
Available fields include:
- Website
- Mobile
- Country
- Region
- Address
- City
- Zip or Postal Code
- Profile image
These fields help you create a more complete contact profile.
Save the Contact
After filling in the contact details, click Add Contact.
Once saved, the contact will appear inside the Contacts table.
